Enduring Love

From an archived anniversary message:

Dearest Cha,

So they say in marriage, 25th is a silver, 50th is a gold and 75th is a platinum.

But why don’t they speak of 100th, or 150th or 300th and more.

Can love be limited by time and space?

Shouldn’t it speak of no time and boundaries.

Because just like time, love is boundless and limitless

Love is beyond here and now.

Love, like the love I have for you, remains constantly vibrant and stronger each day, yesterday, now and forever.

Love you dearly.
Rey 🙂

My Bible study and I were preparing for the CBS tonight and we thought of you in par 10 of Chapter 4 of Ezekiel – Jehovah is great in power. He uses his holy spirit to give us “power beyond what is normal.” This strengthens us to cope with whatever severe and painful trials we may face. We mentioned you in our prayers. Please rest assured of our love😊❤️❤️❤️

Tita Cha, Jehovah’s beloved, far more precious than corals (Proverbs 31:10)

We really didn’t know each other quite well yet then, but I fondly recall all the times Tita Cha would sweetly smile whenever we would pass by each other at convention venues and be at the ladies’ room at the same time ☺️😅💕 and have short loving how are you’s and kwentos. I did not know back then that this lovely sister’s daughters would be one of our most precious friends, but it seems that I was always drawn to the warmth and sweetness Tita Cha always showed… which has been inherited by all her daughters oh so well.

We grieve with you, our beloved Garcia family. We pray that our Father of tender mercies will comfort you in this most challenging trial. May His peace guard your hearts and may our hope serve as your anchors. We are here to cry with you, and remember Tita Cha, and wait for her in the new world. We love you all. How comforting it is to remember that each passing day is a day closer to when we can be with her again❤

Our love, prayers and condolences we send to Kuya Rey, Reg, Trish, Chiara and KC. Cha is one of special friends who is so graceful and charming. She is also fun to be with. The memories we spent together in Australia, when the whole family visited us there are still very clear in my mind. Also, Mal and I had so much fun spending time with Kuya Rey and Cha in Taiwan. We had to wake up really early in the morning because Cha wanted to chase the sun rise and drove 4 hours to catch the sunset in the highest peak of Taiwan. I remember my phone camera was literally overloaded full of photos. One of the most unforgettable was when we went “glamping” where we slept under the stars inside a unique glass roofed cabin.

Cha finished her race faithfully and now she is sleeping waiting for Jesus and Jehovah to wake her up in the new world. 2 Timothy 4:7 applies to Cha – “I have fought the fine fight, I have run the race to the finish, I have observed the faith.” Very soon, Job 14:15 will take place: “You (Jehovah & Jesus) will call, and I (Cha) will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands (as you bring back to life our lovely friend and faithful sister, Cha).” We will then continue chasing more sunrises and sunsets – and by that time I will be perfect in taking her photos with the right angles – as she used to tell me, we need to get Chiara to teach us how to take good photos with the right lighting and the right angles. Cha also inspired me to collect the seeds from fruit trees, especially avocado seeds from Taiwan, and the different seeds from flowers so I could plant them here in the Philippines. In the new world, we will continue planting different plants and flowers together. Now, I need to make sure I also remain faithful so I can welcome her back again and we will then continue our passion for plants and contribute to making this earth a paradise again.

We love you Garcia family!

The people we love continue to live in our hearts and in our memories because our love for them never dies or fades, it stays forever. This is true of my dear cousin-in-law, my friend, and my sister in faith, Cha. She was a beautiful person both inside and outside. We shall miss her always.
My dear cousin, Rey, nieces, Regine, Trish, Chiara, and KC, in these difficult times, I can only pray to our Almighty God, Jehovah to give you strength to get over this pain and these times of hardship. I know that words are not enough to soothe your pain but I still want to tell you that I am here for you, here to listen to you, here to pray to Jehovah, the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 2:3,4) to help you get through this sorrowful times as we await to welcome her back in the resurrection. You all will always stay in my thoughts and prayers.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️.

Dearest Trisha, Chiara, Reg, KC, Tito Rey and Maj,

We are weeping with you. Jehovah fully knows your pain and He will surely comfort you through His warm & loyal love. He will keep your tears in His skin bottle as the Psalmist says in Psalms 56:8 “Do collect my tears in your skin bottle. Are they not recorded in your book?”

Tita Cha fought the fine fight of the faith ’til the finished line. We will welcome her back soon! We love her so much. I remember she used to pack Regine’s lunch box for our whole day ministry despite of her busy schedule. She was very sweet and an awesome mom. We will miss her for a little while until we meet her again.

We love you Trisha, Chiara, Reg, KC, Tito Rey and Maj! Sending you our tight, bear hugs.

Your family,

Geoff & Shine

My deepest love and condolences to Tito Rey, Ate Reg, Ate Trish, Ate Chiara and Ate KC. I have some very fond memories with Tita Cha. When she visited us in Taiwan and Australia, I have memories of this quiet, sweet, gentle lady who loved nature, healthy living and always took good care of herself. 😊 I have very fond memories of this caring lady who loved her daughters and the people around her. Whenever I would visit the Garcia family and stay with them for a month, Tita Cha would treat me as her fifth daughter and I always felt welcome in her home, even including me in family events and family photo shoots if my visit coincided with their plans. She even included me in dinners outside and the hotel during the convention. I always felt at home with the Garcia family and that’s partly because of Tita Cha 🤗. I also love how supportive she was of her daughters and their various goals in life.

I will deeply miss Tita Cha. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the world with her and eating more healthy food when she comes back.

Until then, I’ll imagine the time. I’ll imagine the time when there’s no more pain, when life’s so good and we are young again. I’ll imagine the time I’ll see her dancing out the door because every day is better than before 🤗

It’s just around the corner. Sending love to the Garcia family 🤗

Love, your honorary fifth sister, Mulan 🤗

Dearest Regine and Garcia Family,
Josh and I were and are so deeply saddened to hear of the temporary loss of your beautiful mom, wife and friend. We are thankful to have had brief but beautiful memories with your entire family back in 2013. Your home was a haven of love and hospitality much of which is always fueled by the innate qualities Jehovah puts in women just like your momma.

The Insight book under ‘Resurrection’ reminds us in a bold heading that it is ‘Essential to Man’s Happiness’. It adds “We cannot be completely happy if we do not believe in a resurrection.”
Your family’s faithful record leaves no doubt that this is your anchor secure, but it also means that amidst grief, happiness can exist. It’s Jehovah’s promise to us by means of our beautiful hope for the future. While your pain is no doubt debilitating at times right now, we pray for all of you to find comfort and the peace that is beyond your imagination to keep enduring one day at a time.

Bro Knorr told his wife, Audrey, “Memories are God’s gift to us.” Cherish your many gifts from Jehovah of your beautiful mom, wife and friend. Soon, she will wake up ready to continue making more memories with her beloved family as well as her then worldwide spiritual family.

We can’t wait to catch up with all of you very soon in the new world!
Mahal namin kayo.

MALCOLM HOWE · February 12, 2021 at 9:25 am

Dear Bro Rey, Regina, Trisha, Chiara and KC. How shocked I was to learn of the passing away of your loving wife and loving mom, Sis Cha. Death really is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) and it certainly does “sting”. It is such an unnatural situation to deal with since Jehovah never intended for us to experience death. I would like to express my deepest condolences to you all. I know you are a close knit family and you will support one another through this very difficult time. However, we get the best support and comfort from our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah.

I have very fond memories of Sis Cha. She was a genuinely kind, caring and generous person. I can fully understand why Jehovah drew her to the truth. He could easily see that she loved righteousness, the truth and that she loved Jehovah. I appreciated her generous hospitality that she and the family always extended to us whenever there was an opportunity. I remember spending time with the whole family at your home in Manila on one of our visits to the Philippines. We were made to feel part of your family and Sis Cha was a big part of that loving spirit that was displayed. I also appreciate the care and love that Sis Cha willingly extended to Mulan many many times. I always felt comfortable in the presence of Sis Cha because she was caring, loving and thoughtful. I will always treasure the fond memories of the time we spent together in Australia, the Philippines and Taiwan with Bro Rey and Sis Cha.

Even though this is an extremely difficult time, we do have the sure hope of the resurrection. We all need to keep that hope alive and burning in our hearts and minds. What an amazing time it will be to welcome Sis Cha into the paradise. Certainly there will be many tears of joy. She has successfully crossed the finish line in the race of life (2 Timothy 4:7) and will receive her reward of everlasting life in paradise. For us that remain, we need to remember that we are still in the race. May we always remember the excellent example of Sis Cha to help us to continue in the race and to also successfully cross the finishing line. Included in the blessings for us will be the privilege to welcome her back. Then we will also ask “Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:55) It will be no more, all to Jehovah’s glory.

Warm and deep love and condolences to all the Garcia family.

Bro Malcolm Howe.

Dearest Tito Rey, Reg, Trisha, Chiara, & KC. We were very sad and devastated to learn that Tita Cha had passed away. She will be greatly missed. We may not know her very well however she was always full of life ready to lean a hand to any brothers and sisters. Mu family is a living testimony of how great a person she is and the rest your family. Thank you so much for letting us know you a little bit Tita Cha even just for a brief period of time. Rest will Tita, Psalm 73:26 My body and my heart may fail, But God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever. We love you Tita Cha. ❤️❤️❤️

We will remember Sister Cha and her quiet and mild spirit, such a valuable quality in Jehovah’s eyes and ours also. 1 Peter 3:4 “the secret person of the heart in the incorruptible adornment of the quiet and mild spirit, which is of great value in the eyes of God.”
Truly an adornment that really made Sister Cha beautiful that will never fade from our memories.
Further when I think of Sister Cha I am reminded of Mary. Jehovah greatly values a humble, obedient spirit, which Sister Cha had. She stored away the words in her heart so that she could ponder over them again and again.

It was so plain to see that Sister Cha was such a loving and supportive wife, mother and friend.
We have many fond memories with Sister Cha and Rey, Reg, Chiara, Trish & KC. One of which was at our home in Australia, Wollongong where for some reason we all decided to each sing a song around the dining table after enjoying a meal together. It was such a happy time, with tears of happiness and joyful hearty ❤️ laughter. I also remember each morning considering the Daily Text together where each one of us would make a personal comment as we all went around in the touring mini van. Sister Cha’s beautiful relationship with Jehovah was evident in the way she included him in her daily life.

Now Sister Cha is taking the sleeping carriage into the New World. Where we will all meet her again with outstretched open wide arms where none of the present painful conditions will ever exist again.
Much love to Rey, Reg, Majhal, Chiara, Trish & KC

To all Garcia family, Just offer you my very sincere condolences, I am so sorry and very dejected by the sad death of our very dear sister and mom, of course it is not easy, I know how do You feel at this moment because I also losted my mom and my dad so I put my self in your shoes, but I just pray You to be strong and to leave it all into the hand of Jehovah the God of all comfort. may he be with you in particular brother Rey, Regine, Chiara, Trish & KC and may he heal our wounds. Know that we are in touch with you. Words lack me to express the very painful feeling I have at the moment, I can only reassure you of our deep affection towards you. Know at least that we love you really, and that You will always be in our prayers. Jehovah will never reject You. Always remember John 5: 28, 29 ; Is. 41:10-13; Phil. 4:6, 7

Thank You
